This X12 Transaction Set contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Request for Motor Carrier Rate Proposal Transaction Set (107) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set can be used by a shipper, receiver, or other relevant party to request that a motor carrier provide a rate and service proposal.
