This Draft Standard for Trial Use provides the format and estblishes the data contents of the Rate Group Definition Transaction Set (490) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set is used to define and name a group of elements (patron, geography, commodity, shipment conditions) pertinent to a tariff.
