Code indicating the type of pallet
The number of layers per pallet
The number of pieces (cartons) per layer on the pallet
The number of inner containers, or number of eaches if there are no inner containers, per outer container
PAL04 (Pack) is the number of pieces on the pallet.
Numeric value of weight per unit
P0506: If either PAL-05 or PAL-06 is present, then the other is required
PAL05 (Unit Weight) is the weight of the pallet alone, before loading.
Code specifying the units in which a value is being expressed, or manner in which a measurement has been taken
Largest horizontal dimension of an object measured when the object is in the upright position
C0710: If PAL-07 is present, then PAL-10 is required
PAL07 and PAL08 (Length and Width) are the dimensions of the pallet before loading.
Shorter measurement of the two horizontal dimensions measured with the object in the upright position
C0810: If PAL-08 is present, then PAL-10 is required
Vertical dimension of an object measured when the object is in the upright position
C0910: If PAL-09 is present, then PAL-10 is required
PAL09 (Height) is the height of the pallet and load.
Code specifying the units in which a value is being expressed, or manner in which a measurement has been taken
L10070809: If PAL-10 is present, then at least one of PAL-07, PAL-08 or PAL-09 is required
Numeric value of gross weight per pack
P1112: If either PAL-11 or PAL-12 is present, then the other is required
PAL11 and PAL13 (Gross Weight and Gross Volume) are measured after loading and includes the pallet.
Code specifying the units in which a value is being expressed, or manner in which a measurement has been taken
Numeric value of gross volume per pack
P1314: If either PAL-13 or PAL-14 is present, then the other is required
Code specifying the units in which a value is being expressed, or manner in which a measurement has been taken
Code specifying pallet exchange instructions
The number of eaches per inner container
Code identifying the pallet structure
Numeric value of quantity
PAL18 is the maximum quantity of stackable pallets.
Code indicating a Yes or No condition or response
PAL19 indicates if the block count on at least one pallet tier is not the same as on other tiers. A "Y" indicates the pallet has unequal block counts on one or more tiers. An "N" indicates that the pallet's blocks per tier are uniform (block x tier equals quantity on pallet).
