This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Commission Sales Report Transaction Set (818) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set can be used to allow a retailer to advise a trading partner of commission sales and salary information. Commission data enables a trading partner to reconcile commission payments and salary support.
