This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Railroad Price Distribution Request or Response Transaction Set (460) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set can be used to request or communicate prices (rates and associated information) between two or more parties. It can send or respond to a rate docket which includes maintenance status, qualifying conditions, geographic data, routes, rates, and interline divisions.
