This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Train Sheet Transaction Set (161) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The transaction set can be used to allow railroads to exchange train sheet information and ensure that crews operating equipment on other railroads are aware of current operating conditions.
