This standard provides the format and establishes the data contents of the Confirmation (Ocean) Transaction Set within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange environment. This transaction set provides all the information necessary for an ocean carrier to confirm space, container, and equipment availability in response to the Reservation (Booking Request - Ocean) Transaction Set (300); or to notify other parties such as terminal operators or other ocean carriers.
