X12 212 Motor Carrier Delivery Trailer Manifest
This X12 Transaction Set contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Motor Carrier Delivery Trailer Manifest Transaction Set (212) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set can be used to allow motor carriers to provide consignees or other interested parties with the contents of a trailer, containing multiple shipments, that has been tendered for delivery. It is not to be used to provide the recipient with data relative to a full truckload shipment.

- Loop 0100 provides the location where the carrier will deliver the trailer.

When sent, the Name (N102) and Identification Code (N104) with Global Location Number (UL) qualifier in the Identification Code Qualifier (N103) are required by Walmart. While the Party Location (N3) and Geographic Location (N4) segments are recommended but not required.
