Standard Carrier Alpha Code
BOL01 is the Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC) of the carrier that is to provide transportation services.
Code identifying payment terms for transportation charges
BOL02 is the method of payment for the freight charges.
Identification number assigned to the shipment by the shipper that uniquely identifies the shipment from origin to ultimate destination and is not subject to modification; (Does not contain blanks or special characters)
BOL03 is the identification number assigned by the shipper, usually the Bill of Lading number.
Date expressed as CCYYMMDD where CC represents the first two digits of the calendar year
BOL04 is the date the carrier picked up the freight.
Time expressed in 24-hour clock time as follows: HHMM, or HHMMSS, or HHMMSSD, or HHMMSSDD, where H = hours (00-23), M = minutes (00-59), S = integer seconds (00-59) and DD = decimal seconds; decimal seconds are expressed as follows: D = tenths (0-9) and DD = hundredths (00-99)
BOL05 is the actual time the carrier picked up the freight.
