EQD EQD Equipment Damage Information

Used to identify damage on equipment.

Position: EQD-01 · Element: 302 · Name: Damage Location on Equipment · Type: Identifier (ID) · Requirement: Mandatory · Min: 1 · Max: 3 · Repeat: 1

Indicates the location where damage has occurred on a piece of equipment, as observed from the rear-end. The rear-end of the equipment is based on the equipment type (i.e. container door, chassis wheels, brakes.)

When reporting no damage (EQD02 equals ND) the EQD01 must be equal to C.
