Code uniquely identifying a Transaction Set.
Due to the installation of the "ST" segment in all transaction sets, data element 143 in all of the "B" segments is redundant. DE143 will be retained as an optional data element for a period of adjustment.
It is suggested that DE143 not be transmitted so it may be dropped from segment definitions in the future.
Code defining carrier. Air, Motor, Ocean: SCAC Rail: Railway accounting rule 260 alphabetic or numeric code.
Code (Standard Point Location) defined by NMFTA point development group as the official code assigned to a city or point (for ratemaking purposes) within a city.
RWC number composed of a four-digit number with a fifth digit being a modulus 10 check digit.
Identification of a repetitive pattern that is to be used as a basis for creating a shipment record or a new pattern; or identification of a pattern requiring change or deletion.
Code defining the action to be taken by the carrier relative to changing or deleting an existing pattern.
Date that the rates or data applied to a shipment or pattern are in effect.
Code identifying payment terms for transportation charges.
