Identification of the one type of message in a functional group.
Code or name identifying the division, department etc. within the originating sender's organization.

From UN/EDIFACT Directory release '04A', the more recent code values for this data element shall be derived directly from the UN/EDIFACT directory release number of the referenced message.
A code assigned by the association responsible for the design and maintenance of the message type concerned, which further identifies the message.
Password to the recipient's division, department or sectional system (if required).
